Requirements
Must:
- Eligibility for SC Clearance
- Experience with security tools such as McAfee EPO, ForcePoint, Zscaler, Pulse VPN, IPSEC/SSL, and Nagios
- Strong understanding of SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, and identity & access management platforms
- Proficient in monitoring tool performance and ensuring data quality
- Ability to assist in the deployment and configuration of new security technologies
- Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams to align security tooling with business objectives
- Experience in documenting configurations, procedures, and tool usage guidelines
- Technical support and troubleshooting experience in security tooling
- Knowledge of emerging security technologies and ability to recommend improvements
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain security tools like SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new security technologies and their integrations
- Monitor tool performance and ensure data quality, coverage, and alerting accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams to align tools with business and security objectives
- Support incident response activities by providing actionable insights and forensic data
- Document configurations, procedures, and tool usage guidelines
- Participate in tool evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot security tooling issues
- Stay current with emerging security technologies and advocate for improvements
