Requirements
Must:
- Experience developing on cloud-based environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices and techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database applications such as Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience working within a software engineering team, effectively communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to standards and agreed ways of working.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/Node.js and TypeScript, as well as familiarity with relevant frameworks and design principles.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer in The Garage, I will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining innovative cloud-based solutions and automations within a collaborative and agile environment. I will write secure, high-quality, test-driven code using the best tools and techniques available. I will manage and deploy code using GitLab, work within AWS cloud environments, and develop on high-performance MacBook Pro devices. My growth will be supported through ample learning and development opportunities, including expert-led conferences and subscriptions to Cloud Academy.
