Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with a track record of managing and operating a secure ServiceNow environment, including the integration of the ServiceNow Platform with other technologies. You should have demonstrable experience in supporting team members to provide a first-class service and ensure necessary expertise across organizational boundaries when needed. We expect you to have knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within an enterprise tooling infrastructure, either individually or as part of a team, demonstrating initiative in tackling issues and providing possible solutions. Proven experience of effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels is necessary. Additionally, you should have demonstrable experience managing releases using Software Delivery Lifecycles. A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator qualification or extensive ServiceNow Administration experience is required. Successful candidates with extensive experience will need to achieve this qualification within 12 months.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will thrive in complex technical environments at DWP Digital, which is home to the largest government rollout of ServiceNow in Europe. You will help keep our platforms running smoothly, including ServiceNow and Amazon Web Voice, supporting over 120,000 colleagues and 20 million citizens. Your duties will encompass managing day-to-day operations and solving technical issues, playing a crucial role in ensuring our digital services are secure, stable, and future-ready. You will engage in everything from infrastructure monitoring to 3rd line support, while also helping to shape the future of our platforms. Additionally, you will lead a small team, expand your expertise in areas like security and integrations, and work in a fast-paced environment focused on enhancing user experience.
Description
You will join us at one of our brilliant digital hubs located in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or Sheffield, depending on what is most convenient for you. We follow a hybrid working model, balancing work at home with face-to-face collaboration in our hubs. We offer competitive pay of up to £52,442, complemented by a fantastic civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, totaling over £12,000 annually. Our generous leave package starts at 26 days and rises to 31 days over time, with the option to take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time, in addition to public holidays.
