Requirements
Must:
- Architecture design of data-oriented products/services.
- Micro-service and event-based architecture design and patterns.
- Presenting architecture design to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and collaboration at all levels.
- Experience with Analytics & Reporting: data warehousing, data lakes, business intelligence (BI), analytics technologies, design patterns, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, container, and networking design patterns, tools, and best practices (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Database Design & Management: Data Architecture Design, Data Modelling, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management, Data Governance.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Solution Architect, I will lead on the technical feasibility and design of a range of innovative solutions, working across teams delivering services in: Data Exploitation, Data Enablement, and Data Platform. I will deliver the technical and architecture design elements for Digital & Analytics services, which are critical in helping DWP achieve our goals. In addition, I will support delivery teams, using my technical skills as a respected architecture expert and my behavioral skills to lead, inform, and influence others. I will ensure the technical quality of our solutions and that the solution designs adhere to the DWP Enterprise Architecture and Product Roadmaps. I will also identify, capture, share, iterate, and implement architecture patterns.
Description
We offer a competitive salary of up to £70,000, along with a generous civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, potentially totaling up to £16,000 per year.
