We are looking for candidates with an appreciation of information security, who can design solutions and services with security controls embedded. You should have experience in implementing enterprise security tooling and platforms in line with the NIST cyber security framework or equivalent, and CIS security controls. A deep understanding of each layer of an organization’s cyber security controls is essential, along with the ability to define solutions that enable defence in depth. You should be capable of leading investigative work into problems and opportunities in existing processes, driving the collection of information and creating recommendations for improvements. The ability to absorb large amounts of conflicting information and determine solutions is important. You should also be skilled in designing, implementing, administering, and supporting security products and services, ensuring adherence to digital security standards and architectural principles both on-premise and in the Cloud.

Using your technical expertise across multiple domains, you will develop technical product roadmaps and manage product lifecycles, ensuring alignment with DWP strategy. You will lead the design and operation of secure services and software while collaborating with Architecture and Engineering principles. Your focus will be on operational stability, robustness, resilience, availability, and quality, making you accountable for secure solutions.
