Senior Service Designer

As a Service Designer, you will lead a high-performing team to create end-to-end solutions that prioritize user needs. Our collaborative work environment allows you to focus on understanding user behavior and feedback, translating those insights into actionable tasks. You will conduct research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods, closely collaborating with researchers to effectively outline and review user needs. Your leadership will shine as you articulate the vision for our products and services, leading workshops, communicating goals, and driving actionable outcomes in partnership with product owners and policy colleagues to define the customer journey. You will also play a key role in building an open and collaborative culture in DWP and within the design community, sharing best practices and promoting effective ways of working while helping to enhance our service design expertise. Additionally, you will own and create high-quality service design deliverables, including personas, experience maps, insights packs, user flow maps, and service blueprints.
