Requirements
Must:
- Influential, with strong leadership and management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, creatively, and independently to solve issues.
- Excellent planning and implementation methodology.
- Skilled practitioner with extensive experience and a proven track record in understanding ITSM processes.
- Detailed working knowledge and practical experience of network infrastructure in Wi-Fi, data centers (on-prem), cloud, next-generation firewalls (NGFW), load-balancing, and PKI technologies.
- Significant demonstrable experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Network Engineer, I will provide operational support and carry out planned BAU work such as upgrades and failover exercises, as well as contribute to service improvements. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where I will guide a team of capable engineers, support complex infrastructure, and drive innovation across Wi-Fi, on-prem, and cloud environments. My expertise in network tooling (e.g., Wireshark, NetScout, BMC Entuity), cloud and on-prem infrastructure, NGFWs, load balancers, and PKI will be key. Familiarity with Aruba Central, ClearPass, Arista CloudVision, and network automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python is desirable but not essential.
