Requirements
Must:
- Proven significant experience in designing, implementing, and managing a Flexera on-premise installation, including agent rollout and integrations with multiple technologies such as Kubernetes deployment in AKS and EKS.
- A strong track record in designing and delivering infrastructure services and solutions within a hybrid server estate that includes multiple Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Server, various Unix or Linux distributions) and containerized platforms to meet strategic plans and roadmaps.
- Significant experience in providing specialist technical support and assistance to projects, ensuring the definition and delivery of requisite non-functional requirements for architectural and roadmap developments.
- Experience managing, supporting, and mentoring team members to successfully deliver high-quality outcomes that meet customer needs and provide value for money.
- Demonstrable experience using multiple scripting languages across different operating systems, including the deployment of Infrastructure as Code.
- Significant experience communicating effectively across various levels, including support and engineering, business users, architecture, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Flexera FlexNet Engineering Team, focusing on shaping how we monitor and manage the performance of our IT systems.
- Serve as the go-to expert for Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite, responsible for designing and delivering new services while ensuring stability and resilience of our infrastructure.
- Manage a small team, collaborating closely with other engineers and stakeholders to maintain accurate, reliable, and future-ready monitoring tools.
- Utilize your knowledge of cloud platforms, containers, and Infrastructure as Code to deploy Flexera One agents across different environments, proficiently navigating Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes.
