Requirements
Must:
As a candidate, you should possess a solid understanding of the ITIL framework, particularly in Service Design, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience. You must have delivered Service Design to a high standard across various technologies while prioritizing user needs and service quality. Regular consultation with senior stakeholders is essential, providing clear analysis and recommendations that facilitate decision-making. You should be capable of consistently delivering in fast-paced environments and managing conflicting priorities without compromising on quality.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will help shape the services that support millions of people across the UK, ensuring they are designed to meet business needs and deliver excellent user experience. I will leverage my deep expertise in service management and operations, focusing on service design. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across design, architecture, and IT operations, I will lay the groundwork for live services. Leading the use of ITIL-aligned service design and transition processes, I will produce key artefacts like Service Design Packs and assist teams in planning, standardizing, and automating. I will challenge the status quo by bringing fresh ideas and applying strong analytical skills to simplify complex information into clear, effective designs. Additionally, I will prioritize design activities, resolve conflicts, and drive quality across all our deliveries.
