Requirements
Must:
- A broad platform knowledge and ability to conduct cyber security assessments from a multi-platform perspective
- Research and evaluate known/emerging security risks and controls to provide expert advice
- Extensive knowledge and experience of security principles and technologies for cloud hosted services
- Advanced understanding of threat intelligence and threat assessment principles and concepts
- Demonstrable experience of working on complex IT infrastructures across a multi-domain model
- Specific experience in a Cyber Security Risk management role as part of a cybersecurity capability
- Ability to pass Security Check clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead first line cyber risk activity across DWP Digital
- Identify, assess, and guide the treatment of cyber risks through a controls driven approach
- Ensure alignment with organisational standards and evolving threat landscapes
- Analyse the effectiveness of our controls and translate technical vulnerabilities into business-focused insight
- Support design, testing, and monitoring activities, offering constructive challenges
- Give trusted advice to business managers and senior leaders
- Oversee the cyber risk lifecycle, recommending controls and assessing business processes against emerging threats
