Requirements
Must:
- I have experience using strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and manage teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in Performance Management.
- I can build and develop effective working relationships with senior Business, Suppliers, and IT managers.
- I understand 'Route to Live' concepts concerning environments and environment management (Dev/Test/Systems Integration/LIVE).
- I am familiar with existing and emerging Desktop technologies (W365, Intune) that relate to IT Service Operations and Service Management (e.g., Service Now/BMC) as well as AI/ML platforms and automation technologies.
- I have the experience to utilize a range of techniques in Problem-Solving with an analytical mindset to address complex challenges, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively presenting data and strategies.
- I have experience in a lead ITIL/ITOM Service Management role within a Desktop Environment, driving strategic vision and managing cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I will be part of the Desktop Leadership team with a broader responsibility for leading the Desktop Environments Function.
- As a Lead IT Service Manager, I will take charge within the Desktop team to provide live support across all our services.
- I will lead our New Environments team and have a critical role in developing an enhanced performance management model for this new service.
- Collaborating closely with our talented engineering community and Product Owners, I will ensure our services are maintained and secure.
- I will oversee the well-being of all our live services, including performance, patching, financial operations, and resilience.
