Must:
- Multi-Platform Cybersecurity: You need broad platform knowledge and the ability to conduct cybersecurity assessments from a multi-platform perspective, ensuring thoroughness. - Vulnerability Management Leadership: We are looking for individuals who have experience leading teams with a deep understanding of vulnerability management as a fundamental aspect of cybersecurity. - Cloud Security Expertise: You should possess extensive experience with cloud-hosted services, applying core security principles and technologies to maintain secure environments. - Threat Intelligence & Assessment: An advanced grasp of threat intelligence and assessment concepts is crucial, along with experience leading activities that transform insights into action. - Complex Infrastructure Experience: You must have worked across complex IT infrastructures and multi-domain models, with hands-on experience in vulnerability management as part of a broader cybersecurity strategy. - Qualifications: You should hold either a Certified Information Systems Security Manager (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification, or an MSc in Information Security.

Responsibilities

As the Lead Cyber Security Vulnerability Manager in our DWP Digital Security team, you will shape and deliver our vulnerability management strategy, encompassing people, processes, and technology. You will ensure our approach aligns with organizational goals, our risk appetite, and broader government cybersecurity objectives. Leading a team of Vulnerability Analysts, you will guide investigations into cyber risks and drive remediation actions across various digital functions. Your collaboration with operational and security teams will help develop mitigation strategies and reduce exposure to threats. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Additionally, you will contribute to building a culture of resilience and readiness across the department.
