We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Service Management experience in large-scale IT organizations, alongside the use of Service Management Framework Processes (e.g., ITIL) to support services.
- Knowledge of IT Service Continuity Management and IT Disaster Recovery testing in large and complex organizations.
- Familiarity with applying Service Management processes to Patching and Security Vulnerabilities activities.
- Experience in collaborating with Senior Business Stakeholders to deliver IT service excellence.
- Proven ability in process and continual service improvement, including challenging the status quo and analyzing existing processes to identify and implement opportunities for enhancement.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll ensure that the digital services supporting Retirement, Bereavement, and Care benefits are operating efficiently. You'll monitor systems that assist our agents in processing claims to ensure customers receive the right payments without delays. When issues arise, you will coordinate resolutions, working closely with technical teams, suppliers, and service delivery colleagues to swiftly get operations back on track. Your responsibilities will also include engaging with agents to understand their challenges, tracking incidents, managing problems, and keeping everyone informed of ongoing developments. Additionally, you will plan and manage changes to services, ensuring these are executed effectively without disruption.
