Must:
- Ability to interpret complex IT Hardware asset information and present it in a simplified format to peers and management. - Experience in developing and applying processes, techniques, and tools to capture, track, correct, and report on IT Hardware assets and associated data to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Experience in agreeing on the scope of IT Hardware asset management standards, plans, processes, and procedures with stakeholders to optimize the capture and use of asset management data. - Experience managing IT Hardware assets and ensuring that changes are properly impacted and communicated. - Experience evaluating existing IT Hardware asset management systems and leading the continuous improvement of Asset Management procedures.

Responsibilities

As an IT Asset Manager, I will follow predefined procedures to identify, track, control, and report on defined hardware assets and associated data. My tasks will include uploading device assets into the ServiceNow asset repository, cleaning and correcting asset data, and providing subject matter expert support to staff managing devices. I will develop asset management processes, resolve update or process issues, and collaborate with suppliers and other key stakeholders. Additionally, I will be responsible for providing, building, deploying, tracking, managing, and disposing of laptops, peripherals, and printers for approximately 125,000 Civil Servants, OGD's, contractors, and suppliers. I will audit Hardware Asset management data to check for accuracy and recommend necessary corrective actions.

We offer a pay of £42,614, plus a generous civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, amounting to up to £12,345 per year. Our holidays start at 26 days and increase to 31 days over time, with up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time and all the usual public holidays. You'll join us in one of our digital hubs located in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, or Sheffield, depending on your convenience.
