Must:
We are looking for an individual who can identify, understand, and implement payment contingencies as needed. You should have extensive knowledge and a proven track record of managing enterprise-level digital products and critical services in a live environment. Additionally, a strong working knowledge of service lifecycle management for technologies and solutions in a large-scale IT environment is essential. We expect demonstrable experience with Service Management Frameworks, such as ITIL, and a clear understanding of service management within a UK payments landscape, including BACS and Faster Payment journeys.
Responsibilities
As a Senior IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the support strategy for Service Management across various platforms, channels, or a portfolio of Products/Services. Your goal will be to ensure quality, availability, performance, and process maturity in alignment with business outcomes. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure that new and changed Products/Services are effectively and safely supported into Live service, while meeting customer expectations. Your role will also involve removing blockers, fostering a culture of learning and transparency, and empowering multidisciplinary teams to succeed. You will be hands-on in managing services within Digital Payment Services and will support the onboarding of emerging payment applications, ensuring robust service management is established throughout the lifecycle.
