Requirements
Must:
- Experience in developing applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Experience managing and integrating data across common Power Platform data sources such as Dataverse and SharePoint Lists.
- Experience working in Agile/Rapid application development teams, contributing to solution delivery and decision-making throughout the full Agile delivery lifecycle.
- Proficiency in collaborative tools such as Azure DevOps/JIRA.
- Experience recommending and assessing tooling standards for application engineering.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to enhance application usability and performance.
- Proven capability to lead and coach individuals within teams to achieve goals through support, motivation, and development.
Responsibilities
As an Application Engineer, I will be working as a Power Platform developer in an Agile environment. I will collaborate with a Senior Application Engineer and other application engineers alongside a variety of digital experts within a delivery squad, which includes Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, DevOps, Architects, and Testers. My day-to-day tasks will involve supporting applications built using PowerApps and Power Automate, converting legacy systems into low-code applications, and developing new applications from scratch. I will also engage with stakeholders from DWP Digital and the broader DWP, and there may be a future opportunity for me to take on line management responsibility for Application Engineer Apprentices.
