Requirements
Must:
- At least 4 years of IT support experience, ideally with a small/medium MSP.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems.
- Good networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi, VLANs, and UniFi or similar technologies.
- Experience with dental systems (e.g., EXACT, R4, Systems for Dentists, imaging software) is a significant advantage.
- Comfortable working independently and visiting customer sites.
- Well-organized and methodical, able to manage projects alongside support tickets.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Handle 2nd line support requests and act as an escalation point for 1st line issues.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Intune/MDM.
- Support and administer Windows 10/11 and Windows Server, focusing on Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
- Deliver IT support to dental practices, utilizing systems such as EXACT, R4, Systems for Dentists, and various imaging solutions.
- Conduct site visits for installations, break/fix work, and networking refreshes, including servers, Wi-Fi, cabling, and PCs.
- Build and configure hardware from home; we will provide all the necessary equipment for your home setup.
- Participate in project work, including Microsoft Cloud migrations, Intune rollouts, hosted Azure VMs, cloud PBX deployments, and full Wi-Fi replacements.

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in an office-based role, Monday to Friday. As an onsite engineer for some of our customers, you will play a vital role in our expansion in the north. You will mostly collaborate with our service desk team while also handling escalations and project work. We pride ourselves on being a small but ambitious managed service provider, and we offer a competitive salary depending on your experience, training support for certifications (Microsoft, vendor, networking), and a chance to be part of a fast-paced, growing MSP where you will have real responsibilities and opportunities for progression.
