Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Technical Team Lead with the following skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Experience with DynamoDB, Lambda, EventBridge, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS
- Knowledge of RDBMS, preferably Postgres and MySQL
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of CloudFormation and AWS CDK
- Experience with Bitbucket
- Background in Media Services, including MediaConvert, MediaPackage, and MediaLive
Desirable qualifications include:
- AWS Media Services experience (MediaConvert, MediaLive, MediaPackage, etc.)
- AWS Certified Developer or Solution Architect certification
Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, I will be guiding our development team and driving the technical direction of our client's ecosystem. I am seeking someone who can lead an experienced team, mentor junior members, and tackle complex challenges with scalable architecture. You will play a critical role in influencing technical and strategic decisions.
Description
This position is remote, with a salary ranging from £75,000 to £100,000. My media client collaborates with some of the leading names in the industry. We require someone with experience in media codecs, protocols, and container formats, as well as a solid understanding of the Media Supply Chain. Familiarity with VoD preparation, scheduling systems, and play-out will be beneficial.
