We seek a skilled SQL Database Administrator with advanced expertise in SQL Server 2019/2022 administration on Windows 2022/2025. You should have a strong background in tuning, monitoring, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL, and PowerBI. A proven experience with SQL Availability Groups, encryption, and security features is essential. You need to demonstrate your ability to build and maintain SSIS packages via Visual Studio, and have experience with external data integration via SFTP. Familiarity with Redgate tools and other RDBMS platforms, including Azure, is required. A solid understanding of Active Directory and Windows Clustering, along with exposure to legal platforms (e.g., iManage, Aderant, IntApp), is also crucial. Additionally, we value candidates who have experience supporting large enterprise or law firm environments.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will maintain high-availability SQL Server environments and optimize performance to enhance our enterprise-grade systems. You will proactively monitor systems to minimize downtime and strengthen security. Leading capacity planning and backup/recovery strategies will be part of your duties. You will develop and support scripts, utilities, and integration workflows while ensuring adherence to development standards across procedures and packages. Overseeing database upgrades, deployments, and change management is crucial, as is the need to collaborate across IT, business services, and infrastructure teams. Lastly, you will evaluate and implement third-party solutions and emerging technologies.
