Must:
We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Engineer with extensive administration experience and a strong understanding of SharePoint services, web infrastructure, SQL Server, and SSO. A good knowledge of web farm infrastructure, including load balancing best practices, is essential. While experience in SQL Server is desirable, it is not essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will provide 3rd line support, optimization, and improvements to our global server estate, which encompasses both on-premise and cloud SharePoint services, as well as web infrastructure, SSO, Azure, and SQL Server. My responsibilities include managing the web and SharePoint farm globally to ensure operational uptime and delivering improvements to our services through code releases and deployments. I will focus on technology and system innovation to keep our current systems updated and compliant with software and hardware guidelines. Collaboration with other Business Services and vendor teams will be crucial to ensure prompt delivery of deployments, support, and continuous improvement of our service offerings in a rapidly changing environment. Additionally, I will ensure the design and architecture of our web, SharePoint, Azure Cloud Services, and SSO infrastructure meets our underlying service level targets.
Description
This position is an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with hybrid working arrangements, requiring me to be in the office three days per week.
