Must:
As a Lead Data Engineer, I am seeking candidates with proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and experience with data processing services. I require advanced skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Strong programming abilities in Python, SQL, and/or Scala are essential. Candidates should possess expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data mesh architectures. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in data analytics is crucial. Additionally, I look for experience with metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data cataloging, as well as knowledge of serverless data processing, event-driven architectures, and modern data stacks.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and execute a data engineering strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and technological advancements. You will design and implement a scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient modern cloud data platform. Building and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines for processing and managing large volumes of structured and unstructured data will be a key part of your work. You will create and manage Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to provide strategic insights. Furthermore, I expect you to integrate cutting-edge technologies like AI, real-time analytics, and automation into our data infrastructure and lead operational AI initiatives, including the development of machine learning models for predictive analytics.
