Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Expertise in Windows Server 2008 - 2025
- Proficiency in Microsoft infrastructure technologies including DHCP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, VSAN, and VCenter
- Knowledge of Entra ID and Intune
- Familiarity with Azure IAAS
- Competence in SolarWinds monitoring
- Networking experience (Cisco, Juniper)
- Experience with Commvault or Rubrik is desirable
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for the day-to-day management of infrastructure topologies within our organization. My responsibilities will include:
- Administering and monitoring various systems such as Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMWare, VXRail, Cato Platform, Rubrik, Commvault, Juniper Mist, and APC
- Responding to ServiceNow tickets (3rd line) and resolving incidents
- Performing daily health checks of infrastructure services using management platforms like SolarWinds
- Analyzing vulnerabilities using Rapid 7 and managing the patching of servers, appliances, and switches
- Performing firmware updates for appliances including Kemp, Extreme APs, NetApp, HP Servers, Rubrik, and Commvault
- Logging tickets with managed service providers and other providers when services are impacted
- Decommissioning old servers as needed
Description
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with a hybrid working policy, requiring three days per week in the office. We are excited to find the right individual to join our team and help us enhance our IT infrastructure capabilities.
