Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst / 2nd Line Support Analyst with the following qualifications and skills:
- Proficient knowledge of endpoint device hardware (HP, Lenovo, Apple) including laptops, iPhones, iPads, office telephony, and WiFi.
- Experience in accessing and configuring Firmware/BIOS to set standards.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, particularly the installation, updating, and remediation of Microsoft Windows (all supported versions).
- Proficiency in endpoint software suites, specifically installation, updating, and remediation of Microsoft Office (all supported versions).
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) enterprise experience including device enrollment/un-enrollment (Profile Push) and Mobile Iron Mobile Platform.
- Knowledge of endpoint enterprise management systems for device updates and software installation (Microsoft SCCM, McAfee PGP, BitLocker).
- Experience with endpoint enterprise deployment technologies, including device pre-boot configuration and device build sequences (Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft MDT).
Responsibilities
As a Desktop Support Analyst / 2nd Line Support Analyst, you will:
- Technically resolve end user incidents and fulfill service requests across all supported IT devices in accordance with agreed service levels.
- Utilize the Service Management tool-set (ITSM Remedy) to provide accurate and timely updates for all allocated incidents and service requests.
- Undertake relevant technical support and maintenance tasks/activities as required by Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, and IT projects.
- Liaise with other internal support teams, senior management, and suppliers in the day-to-day management of incidents and service requests where technical responsibilities dictate.
- Initiate the escalation process for major incidents when appropriate, identifying key issues and risks, and escalating them promptly to the line management team.
- Attend and actively participate in all daily stand-up and team meetings.
