Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with significant experience in a security-focused role. You should have expertise in building, operating, and maintaining security systems, along with experience in firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, authentication systems, content filtering, and log management. Knowledge of network security and networking technologies is essential. Familiarity with security frameworks and certifications, such as NIST, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials, is also required. Additionally, experience with specific technologies including Extreme Networks Switches & Wireless, Silver Peak Aruba SD-WAN, Check Point firewalls, NetScaler load balancers, Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanner, Rapid7 SIEM, Forcepoint Stonesoft URL filtering, and Ivanti DLP solution will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing network traffic, systems, and logs for signs of unusual or malicious activity. You will conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement. Your duties will include implementing and maintaining security tools and protocols, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection. You will investigate security incidents, respond to potential breaches, and document all relevant findings and actions. Additionally, you will develop security policies, standards, and best practices for our organization and act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for operational network and security issues. It will also be your responsibility to document and address the organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements, including new solutions through projects, as well as managing relationships with security vendors and service providers.
