Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, particularly in finance systems transformation & implementation
- Proven track record in delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Previous experience managing migrations or API integrations between legacy financial systems and modern platforms
- Understanding of financial controls and their implementation in systems and process improvements
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master certification
- Exceptional communication skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to translate technical jargon for a finance-focused audience
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, delivery, and transfer into Operation Service of complex IT projects from initiation to closure
- Oversee the implementation of finance system projects in collaboration with developers, architects, security, and service operations teams
- Work closely with business change teams to assess, plan, and implement changes successfully
- Assist the business sponsor in creating robust business cases and defining key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking actuals, and reporting on financial variances
- Act as the primary liaison between technical and business stakeholders and the program management team
- Identify and mitigate technical and financial risks
- Ensure project documentation meets strict industry compliance and audit standards
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) based on project needs
- Collaborate with Service Delivery Management teams to successfully transition changes from project to Service BAU
