IT-Asset-Manager

In this role, I will expect you to: - Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets (hardware and software), including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal. - Develop and implement procedures to accurately track and analyze all IT assets using specialized tools. - Ensure compliance with vendor contracts and software license agreements while effectively managing audits. - Support the development of procurement strategies to optimize technology spending across the department and organization. - Generate management reports on asset inventory, performance, budget considerations, and risks. - Establish, maintain, and enforce asset management policies and procedures to ensure quality control. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align asset management with business objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Implement and maintain effective principles and policies for operating and monitoring asset management controls. - Promote the adoption of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) as the single source of truth for IT assets across departments. - Manage service components to meet business needs and performance targets. - Implement controls and checks to ensure data integrity and compliance with policies. - Provide guidance to CMDB users, including suppliers, to maintain data quality. - Identify cost-saving opportunities for better resource allocation and budget planning.
