Requirements
Must:
- Two or more years of experience in an IT support role
- Experience in a customer experience environment
- Ideally, some project management exposure
- Ability to produce and maintain technical documentation for support knowledge base
- Strong ability to work independently and use initiative
- Proficiency in supporting PC hardware, software, and peripherals
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line IT support to users via email, phone, and other electronic mediums
- Assist local office and onboard vessels when required
- Resolve technical issues for all PC hardware, software, and associated peripherals
- Redirection or escalation of support requests to the appropriate IT Support Department member
- Maintain and upkeep existing PCs and peripherals
- Install and configure software to agreed standards, including deploying new and existing equipment
- Contribute to and ensure Service Desk systems and software are current and effective communication is maintained
