Requirements
Must:
- Background in automotive software testing or validation
- Experience with ADAS or driver assistance systems
- Strong knowledge of vehicle-level testing and issue triaging
- Hands-on use of tools such as CANape, CANalyzer, INCA, Simulink, or ADTF
- Experience with embedded systems, ECUs, and CAN bus
- Proven defect tracking, reporting, and data analysis skills
- Full UK (or EU equivalent) driving licence
- Proving ground or on-road testing experience (desirable)
- Automotive OEM, Tier-1, or engineering services background (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute vehicle-level software testing and validation activities
- Generate and run test cases for embedded and ADAS features
- Prepare vehicles for testing, including test equipment setup
- Perform issue triage, defect validation, and root cause analysis
- Capture, analyse, and report test data accurately
- Use CAN and data acquisition tools to support diagnostics
- Support validation activities on proving grounds and public roads
