Must:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Design Authority (TDA) with a strong background in BMC Helix and ITSM architecture. You should have hands-on experience with AR System, Atrium CMDB, Digital Workplace, Smart IT, and Smart Reporting. You must possess a proven track record in delivering ITSM integrations, API development, web services, and automation. In addition, you should have a solid understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request. Experience working in complex, multi-vendor delivery environments is essential.
Responsibilities
As the Technical Design Authority, you will define, validate, and govern the BMC Helix architecture across ITSM, CMDB, Digital Workplace, and Smart IT. You will design scalable and secure solutions using Helix Innovation Studio and Business Workflows. You will lead integrations with third-party platforms, including Active Directory, orchestrators, discovery tools, APIs, web services, and middleware. Overseeing CMDB reconciliation, data flows, auto-ticketing, and identity management integrations will be part of your role. You will take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery, ensuring compliance with ITIL, enterprise standards, and governance frameworks. Supporting Agile delivery, iterative releases, risk management, and cross-functional technical decision-making is also a key aspect of the position. Finally, youll ensure solution readiness through end-to-end testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance validation, and go-live support.
Description
This position is a 6-month contract with a hybrid work model, requiring 23 days of work per week in Reading. We offer competitive day rates and an immediate start is available.
