Requirements
Must:
- CISO advisory experience
- AI security strategy expertise
- Operating model design knowledge
- Risk and compliance familiarity
- Enterprise architecture understanding
- Vendor/tool evaluation skills
- Workshop facilitation experience
- Strong executive communication abilities
- Knowledge of Claude AI and Agentic AI (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Advise CISO leadership and senior stakeholders on AI adoption in cybersecurity
- Shape strategy, governance, and operating models
- Guide delivery teams in implementing AI capabilities
- Assess current maturity and design target-state control frameworks and roadmaps
- Provide guidance on secure solution patterns, vendor/tool selection, and assurance activities
- Communicate risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Description
We are looking for a Security AI Consultant / CISO AI Advisory / AI Cyber Tech Lead for a contracting role based in Sheffield, UK, with a hybrid working model requiring 2 days in the office. This is a 6-month assignment with a likely extension. We offer a competitive market rate and an opportunity to play a pivotal role in guiding our CISO leadership on the effective use of AI in enhancing cybersecurity.
