Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in Linux and Windows operating systems. You should have strong knowledge of C, Java, Oracle Database, SQL, and shell scripting, along with experience in reading and debugging logs and system files. Familiarity with GitHub and ClearCase is essential. Proven experience with real-time or mission-critical systems is required. You must possess excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office tools.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead system-level engineering tasks to meet business and project goals. You'll develop and implement fixes on live customer systems while ensuring system stability. Your duties will include performing installation and maintenance of OS patches and third-party software like Oracle and NetApp. You'll troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across infrastructure and applications and collaborate with global teams to identify, analyze, and resolve system performance challenges. Additionally, you'll support configuration management and version control using GitHub and ClearCase, ensuring reliability and performance for real-time, mission-critical systems.
Description
This position is for a PSA Engineer within our EMS e-terra / ADMS Series 3 team, fully remote in the UK or Europe. The contract duration is 12 months, with the opportunity for extension, and the start date is flexible, with a target of November 1, 2025. We offer a flexible budget and various contract types, including UK Inside IR35, Europe B2B, and permanent contracts.
