Requirements
Must:
- Industrial/Product Design Education to degree level (ideally BSc).
- At least 1 years’ experience working in a product design team, ideally a consultancy.
- Proactive, able to work independently under pressure and to effectively manage time.
- Good sketching ability and knowledge of Adobe CS to produce high-quality, presentation standard concept work (including InDesign).
- Strong CAD modelling skills (ideally SolidWorks).
- Good understanding of design for production processes, including injection molding, die casting, extrusion and metal fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Support the senior team in the design and development of a variety of products across different sectors.
- Involved in concept generation, CAD development, and prototyping.
- Produce manufacturing specifications and communicate with our manufacturing partners.
- Manage client expectations while balancing conflicting product requirements.
- Work quickly and within budget as per the project briefs.
