Responsibilities
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support to users for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals
- Escalate internally or redirect support requests to the software/hardware supplier where necessary
- Manage and resolve support calls on the IT Helpdesk and document their outcomes
- Proactively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support calls
- Maintain the IT Departments technical documentation, guidelines and procedures
- Deploy and maintain PCs and associated peripherals, including performing upgrades and new installations
- Create user accounts for new starters on AD, Email systems and ERP systems
- Complete daily checklist to identify any issues early
- Install and configure operating systems and other software to agreed standards
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software
- Provide professional, courteous and rapid response to individual users

This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £28,000 and £30,000, along with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free on-site parking, a pension scheme, a cycle to work scheme, gym access, and a hardship fund. We also provide a Simply Health Plan to assist with costs towards opticians, dentists, physiotherapy, etc.
