Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years experience in a senior engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 / 11
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
- Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS & Group Policy
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Entra, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange & Intune)
- Understanding of Cloud Hosting (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with Virtual Technologies (Hyper-V & VMware)
- Network Management skills (TCP/IP, L3 routing, VLAN, WAN)
- Firewall Management experience (WatchGuard)
- Knowledge of Backup & Disaster Recovery (Hornet Security Datto)
- Understanding of Email filtering platforms
- Familiarity with Wireless technologies
- Proficiency in Endpoint Security (ESET and WatchGuard)
- Knowledge of Email Branding (Exclaimer and CodeTwo)
- Experience with Network Cabling
- Familiarity with web-based CMS (WordPress etc.)
- Experience with Apple Mac
- Valid Clean UK Driving licence and ability to use own vehicle for work (desirable)
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels
- Demonstrated sound judgement for complex tasks
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills for establishing positive working relationships
- Flexibility to respond to high-level service issues outside of core hours
- Willingness to travel to various locations as needed
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Crusade Technical Team to support and provide technical services to our customers
- Handle technical incidents and requests from customers
- Manage escalation from other Engineers
- Provide professional support to all customers
- Respond effectively and appropriately to customer requests and enquiries
- Complete work within agreed time scales
- Undertake additional duties as required by Crusade
