Requirements
Must:
- Strong professional experience in data science or applied analytics.
- Skilled in Python and Jupyter notebooks.
- Experience using libraries including numpy, pandas, scipy, sympy, scikit-learn, torch, tensorflow.
- Background in exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, machine learning workflows, model evaluation, feature engineering, data preprocessing, data wrangling, or A/B testing and experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Focus on hands-on data science tasks, such as designing experiments.
- Gather and preprocess data.
- Build and evaluate models, collaborating closely with engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions.
- Ensure output consistency and quality through collaboration with peers and feedback from reviewers.
Description
At Crossing Hurdles, we are a referral partner for Mercor, a company that collaborates with the world’s leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. This position is an hourly contract role for a Data Scientist, offering compensation of $60-$100 per hour. The role is fully remote with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week and is expected to last for approximately 2 months, with the possibility of extension.
