Must:
- Strong 2nd Line support experience
- Ability to conduct administration tasks for server operating systems
- Experience with RDS, Citrix, and Hyper-V technologies
- Proficient in assisting with smartphones (Android & iOS), tablets (Android & iOS), printers, scanners, copiers, and other hardware devices
- Knowledge in Office 365 administration, including user account management, Azure AD, Exchange
- Familiarity with various Microsoft products such as Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and MFA
- Ability to administer backup technologies and antivirus/security software
- Skills in executing cable patching and utilizing remote access tools
- Experience leveraging ITSM tools for streamlined service delivery
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in managing the aforementioned tasks
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Strong dedication to the profession and commitment to delivering superior client-centric service
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd Line support for Microsoft environments across diverse industries
- Manage installations and upkeep of Windows 10/11 operating systems on both laptops and desktops
- Resolve issues related to various hardware and software products
- Oversee Office 365 administration and user account management
- Collaborate with team members on IT projects involving RDS, Citrix, and Hyper-V
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues for smartphones, tablets, and printers
- Execute cable patching as needed
- Utilize remote access tools for technical support
- Maintain documentation and streamline service delivery through ITSM tools
Description
We are a leading client based in Milton Keynes, offering a position for a 2nd Line Support Engineer with a salary range of £35,000 - £38,000 per annum. Our team is committed to providing exceptional support within Microsoft environments to a diverse clientele, including industries such as legal, real estate, logistics, and manufacturing. This role requires you to be onsite for 5 days a week, where you will play an essential part in managing installations, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
