- PowerBI Certifications: Having PowerBI certifications is advantageous as it showcases data analysis skills.
- Azure Policy Implementation: Experience in implementing and managing Azure Policy controls to support cost optimization is essential.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring Cloud Usage and Spending: I expect you to engage in ongoing tracking and analysis of cloud usage and expenditure to identify cost-saving measures.
- Developing Cost Optimization Strategies: You will be responsible for creating and applying strategies to optimize cloud costs, including resource tagging, right-sizing, and identifying unused resources.
- Collaborating with Teams: Regular interaction with finance, operations, and technology departments will be necessary to support cost optimization efforts and maintain financial accountability.
- Implementing FinOps Tools: Your role will include the deployment and management of cloud management and FinOps tools to enhance cost visibility and control.
- Cost Forecasting and Budgeting: You will prepare accurate cost forecasts and budgets that align with our organizational financial objectives.

Description
We are a dynamic organization based in Burton upon Trent, offering a hybrid working model with one onsite requirement per month. Our focus is on the efficient and cost-effective management of our Azure-based cloud infrastructure. The salary for this position is up to £60,000.
