Must:
We are looking for a Backend Developer with proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. The successful candidate should have experience in developing scalable server-side applications using microservices architecture. You should also have the ability to build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs for front-end integration, and design and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for efficient data management. Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is essential. You should also possess knowledge of application security, including OAuth2 and JWT authentication. A strong interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve back-end processes will be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to design, build, and optimize scalable services and APIs that relate to AI-based applications. Your duties will include resolving performance bottlenecks to enhance system scalability and reliability, applying best practices in code quality, testing (JUnit, Mockito), and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

This is a permanent position based in Warwickshire, with hybrid working arrangements requiring 2-3 days on-site each week. We offer a competitive salary for the right candidate.
