Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in IT Project Management, ideally within an MSP or IT consultancy environment
- Proven experience delivering IT projects such as:
- Cloud migrations (Azure / Microsoft 365)
- Onboarding new customers
- Infrastructure upgrades and swap-outs
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- IT software, support and service delivery within a busy MSP
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar)
- Cloud certification such as Azure Fundamentals or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
- Solid understanding of IT cyber security, audit and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language
- Confident facilitating workshops, demonstrations and whiteboarding sessions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Customer-focused, results-driven mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
Responsibilities
- Define and document project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria in collaboration with customers and stakeholders
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource plans
- Coordinate and manage project activities, tasks and dependencies to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
- Provide clear and regular project status updates to customers, stakeholders, vendors and internal teams
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes, escalating where required
- Ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations and align with internal standards and procedures
- Conduct project reviews, lessons learned and post-implementation feedback sessions
- Build strong working relationships with customers and account managers to help develop and manage a forward pipeline of projects
- Initiate projects from inception, aligning delivery with business objectives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, reporting and best practices
Description
We are a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Bromley, currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Project Management Office. This role is initially a 3-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of sabbatical, with the possibility of becoming permanent. We offer an excellent opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of projects including cloud migrations, customer onboarding, and infrastructure refreshes.
