Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, SageMaker)
- Experience leading and coaching individuals in data product development
- Experience in building and automating data pipelines in finance
- Ability to demonstrate, automate, and manage data systems effectively
- Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Vault
- Experience coding in SQL, Python, Spark, or Scala
- Knowledge of databases used in Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse setups
- Experience with both structured and unstructured data
- Experience in testing and testing standards
- Possession of an AWS qualification (helpful)
- Experience in an Agile Team, preferably Safe (helpful)
- Familiarity with specific tools like Qlik Replicate / Qlik Compose / DataBricks / Informatica / SAS (helpful)
- Understanding of data modeling methodology (Kimball, Data Vault, Lakehouse) (helpful)
Responsibilities
- Inspire and coach Data Engineering teams
- Design, develop, and test high-quality data solutions
- Drive automation and CI/CD practices across data pipelines
- Build robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our data platform
- Lead and mentor data engineers in a collaborative environment
- Design and develop a new cloud-based Data Ecosystem
- Analyze requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Design test strategies and ensure data quality and integrity
- Collaborate in an agile environment with product managers, analysts, and developers
- Deliver data products that create tangible business value
