To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate experience in creating and managing an enterprise information architecture focused on data. A strong background in information design and modeling, along with concepts and implementation of metadata management, is essential. You should also have experience creating a business glossary, data catalog, and data dictionaries, along with the ability to design and implement solutions. Familiarity with metadata management vendors and tools available in the market is important. Additionally, you should have experience in various data modeling methodologies, including Kimball, Data Vault, and Lakehouse.
Desirable qualifications include a background in solution architecture or equivalent experience in designing and implementing complex data systems, along with experience influencing and consulting with senior business leaders. Proficiency with the Purview metadata management tool is also advantageous.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide technical expertise to support our Data Architecture Strategy and roadmap development. You will lead structured analysis of business requirements, translating these into data models and designs to facilitate the delivery of high-quality data services within our Group. You will drive best practices and practical delivery of data modeling and analysis, which will include creating data model artifacts such as the Enterprise Information Model, Canonical Data Model, Conceptual Data Model, Logical Data Model, Physical Data Models, data mappings, and data flows.
Managing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external partners, you will enforce adherence to architectural standards, product-specific guidelines, and usability design standards, ensuring that all data models are fit for purpose, implementable, complete, and aligned with the current and future architectural needs across our Group.
