Requirements
Must:
- Data Engineering related qualification and/or extensive Data Development experience in a commercial or Agile environment
- Experience of AWS, Python, SQL, Git and PySpark
- Desirable: SISS or SAS experience
- Desirable: Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience
- Desirable: Experience of Database technologies
- Desirable: Experience in Financial Services organisation
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test quality data engineering solutions
- Migrate and integrate data into the new ecosystem
- Review and assure data engineering processes
- Provide guidance to team members on design, build and test activities
- Ensure adherence to standard driven code development
- Deliver solutions that meet business needs in a timely manner
- Take responsibility for testing solutions, including analysis of requirements and design of test cases & scripts
- Prepare test data and create and execute tests to ensure effective and accurate deliverables
