Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with either a Data Engineering related qualification or extensive Data Development experience in a commercial or Agile environment.
- Essential experience includes SQL, Python, AWS, Git, and PySpark.
- Desirable experience would be in SSIS or SAS, Quality Assurance and Test Automation, database technologies, and experience within a Financial Services organization.
Responsibilities
- In my team, the Data Engineer will focus on the migration and integration of data into our new ecosystem over a 12-month fixed term contract.
- I expect the Data Engineer to design, develop, and test quality data engineering solutions, continuously challenging and improving our processes, tools, and approach.
- The individual will undertake review and assurance activities, providing guidance to other team members on design, build, and testing activities.
- They will adhere to standard-driven code development, delivering solutions that meet business needs promptly and taking responsibility for testing their solutions. This includes analyzing requirements, designing test cases and scripts, preparing test data, and executing tests to ensure effective and accurate deliverables.
