Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following essential skills and qualifications:
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
- Entry-level documentation experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, or relevant IT qualifications
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- GCSE grades A-C
- A proactive attitude and a desire to learn new skills
- Attention to detail
Desirable skills include:
- Networking knowledge (Unifi, Meraki, Cisco)
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Manage and maintain high-quality, accurate documentation on all IT processes
- Resolve general workplace IT issues
- Assist our wider IT team in delivering IT projects, including testing new workflows
- Monitor network performance across all sites, collaborating closely with our outsourced IT department on any arising issues
- Support the maintenance of our printer outsourcing contract
- Coordinate data compliance with our outsourced IT department, ensuring our IT infrastructure is secure and compliant with regulations such as GDPR
- Regularly monitor and update the 'IT issues' database
- Uphold a commitment to health and safety, cooperating with coworkers to ensure compliance with company management systems and safe work practices
Description
Working with us at Countrystyle Recycling means being part of the largest independent fleet of modern waste management vehicles in Kent, London, and the South East. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, and this is a full-time, permanent position with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
