Requirements
Must:
I require solid experience in providing 1st and 2nd line IT support. Familiarity with a variety of Microsoft operating systems is essential, ideally including Windows 10. I also need experience with Active Directory, covering new user creation and account administration, as well as knowledge of Office 365. A basic understanding of networking, particularly with VPNs, would be beneficial. While this list is important, I am equally focused on finding the right person for my team. Responsibilities
In this varied and highly-visible role, I expect the Support Engineer to provide a reliable support service to approximately 850 users across multiple sites in the UK, focusing on 2nd line desktop support. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in interesting and varied project work. You will primarily work from our Hemel Hempstead office, but I also anticipate that travel to other sites will be necessary.
