Requirements

Must:
We are looking for ideally a recent graduate or junior-level candidate with experience or interest in technical support, system support, or ERP support. A degree or similar qualification in computing or technology is beneficial. You should have a strong ability and willingness to learn new technology from scratch. Familiarity or curiosity with ERP systems or database/reporting tools is a plus, especially if you have experience with ERPs like Microsoft NAV. Comfort working in low-code/no-code environments while learning to use system queries, dashboards, and customization tools is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude are necessary as you will need to rise to complexity and challenge. A flexible mindset is important; we expect you to self-learn through documentation, forums, community groups, or online resources. Excellent communication skills are required to transfer knowledge and explain technical concepts clearly. You should be willing to work from the office a few days per week (initially 2 days, up to 3 around go-live) and live within commuting distance. We seek someone self-motivated, proactive, collaborative, and enthusiastic about system improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the rollout of the Finance module initially and support the broader system rollout across the business. You will create and maintain dashboards for the Project Team and wider stakeholders, and support go-live activity by providing knowledge and assistance to users and project teams. As an escalation point for ERP-specific support tickets, you will provide 2nd/3rd line support and troubleshooting. You will develop your expertise in the ERP system and transfer that knowledge to colleagues. Implementing system functionality and customization using low-code/no-code tools, along with simple coding or queries where applicable, will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will design and redesign screens, forms, menus, and reports, develop data extraction queries, and create new interfaces. Liaising with the internal development team for more complex customization tasks will also be expected. Additionally, you will support the integration of new features and the rollout of innovations, ensuring correct deployment and system security. Collaborating with the infrastructure and IT operations teams to ensure that systems are maintained, secure, and performing will be part of your daily activities.

Description

We offer competitive pension contributions, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, life insurance at 4 times your salary, and access to employee benefits and retailer discounts. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and technically-minded to support and develop our ERP system, bridging the gap between support and system development while growing into a subject matter expert (SME) for our ERP.
