Requirements

- Proven experience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on C++ and Ada.
- Experience in the Defence sector or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
As a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer, I will contribute to our team in Stevenage by working on Defence projects that require cutting-edge software solutions. I will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet stringent security and performance requirements.
Description
I am looking for individuals who have a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Experience with agile development methodologies, knowledge of defence-specific software development standards and regulations, familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines are considered advantageous. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience as a Software Developer and experience working on Defence projects or in a related industry. Additionally, I require the ability to commute to Stevenage on a 2/3 day a week basis, current SC Clearance, and British National status.
