Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Proven experience delivering complex software systems end-to-end
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead the technical delivery of complex software solutions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high standards across design, implementation, and integration.
Description
We are located in Bristol and require candidates to work on-site 5 days a week due to project classification. The salary is up to £64,000, along with a performance-based bonus and excellent benefits. Clearances required include being a British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship. Desirable experience includes OS lockdown, software security, HMI development, or automated testing. Our benefits include up to £2,500 annual bonus, a pension with up to 14% combined contribution, flexi leave (up to 15 extra days), enhanced parental leave, paid overtime, and flexible working arrangements. We also offer excellent on-site facilities, including subsidised meals and free parking.
