Must:
We are looking for a hands-on Cyber Security specialist with a background in Engineering, who understands network architecture, secure networks, and UK Defence & Security Standards. The essential requirements for this position include:
- Experience in UK Defence & Aerospace
- Knowledge of NIST standards, CISSP, CISM or equivalent experience
Beneficial qualifications include an active UK Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will offer a greenfield challenge that involves designing and deploying secure network architectures. I will define and implement strategies to protect secure development and IT environments, oversee resolutions, and manage incidents. Additionally, I will manage a small team of engineers and liaise with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring compliance with domestic and international security standards (MoD/NCSC/NIST).
Description
The position is based in High Wycombe, Bucks, requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site attendance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team focused on improving and maintaining critical secure networks within the Defence and Aerospace sector.
