Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer who has experience working in complex environments. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively within a team. A strong technical background is required, with several years of commercial experience in the following areas:
- Python, Bash, PowerShell
- RedHat OS
- AWS (experience with other cloud providers like Azure will also be considered)
- RedHat and Windows Administration
- Containerized Solutions
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- CI/CD Pipelines
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work on a high-profile Ministry of Defence (MoD) Programme. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure while leveraging cloud services and Infrastructure as Code to drive automation. This is a hands-on position that will involve automated testing, monitoring relevant infrastructure, managing deployments, and collaborating on solution designs.
Description
We offer the flexibility of home working, though there will be occasional travel to Bristol, likely less than once per month. The interview process consists of two stages: the first can be conducted remotely, while the second will take place in person. Please note that UK Security Clearance (SC) will be required for this role. The salary offered is up to £60,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
